Christmas break is nearly here, meaning I will soon be able to post with giddy abandon. None of my school projects this semester were that inspiring, so don't expect any of that. I do have a few crochet projects that turned out well. Also, over the break, I plan on doing a sort of photo documentation of growing up in the midwest. In other words, I'm going to annoy the hell out of my family and friends with my camera. Should be fun.

Hehe, I'm easily amused.

I haven't really been doing as much art as I planned so far this summer. But between work and summer classes, I don't really have as much free time as I thought I would either. Which is just an excuse, of course. One of the reasons I haven't been drawing as much is I like being social. The other reason is I'm feeling crafty again, which happens to me every summer. Last year I got a pirate-themed crochet wall-hanging out of it, so that's pretty cool. I could upload my sewing and crochet projects, but I do see them more as crafts rather than art.

My next project is going to be a dress from a 50's pattern.

Grumble, grumble.

1. When I was little, I wanted to be an engineer (who designed bridges), then a paleontologist, then an astronaut. Now science is my least favorite subject.

2. I think word etymology is genuinely interesting, and I wish I had an even bigger vocabulary than I do now.

3. I have a phobia of having things near my eyes which prevents me from getting contacts.

4. I hated having red hair when I was younger. Silly.
